A Sad Day

The world lost an amazing man today. My father passed in the early hours of the morning. I am extremely raw and tender still and I can't say much. My heart hurts. I will say that I think he was this blog's biggest fan, and I am thankful for every single memory I have.

If you're a new reader, type 'Dad' into the blog search bar at the top left. You'll see what my dad means to me.

I will be absent for a time.

P.S. I blogged tonight, too. You might want to read it. :)

Robyn,
May the wonderful memories of times spent and moments shared with your father help you though the next days, weeks and years. If there is anything at all, I can do …

My thoughts are with your family tonight. When the sadness eases you will be able to look back at your posts with happiness nad laughter and not so much hurt. Like Nettie said, we are all hurting with you. And indeed, we lost a great man today.

Love you.

So sorry for your loss Robyn. I remember how much Dad influenced your photography and the connection you two have. That connection still exists and will forever, even though he isn't physically on our Earth anymore. You will feel it with every click of the camera, but it won't bring pain, it will bring a bitter-sweet joy reflecting the time and the gifts you two gave each other. He lives on in YOU sweet girl!
