My oldest son is going in for surgery today. He broke his hand. He keeps telling me it's no big deal, but I will be pacing all the while, I'm sure. It's going to be a long day, and your healing thoughts will be appreciated.

Robyn, I am sending healing vibes your son's way and calming vibes your way! I know how the waiting just about drives you nuts, wether he's 7 or 17 it never changes.
I hope my healing thoughts aren't too late. My poor parents have had to endure at least eight minor surgeries in my adult life alone and I never really thought about how terrifying it must have been for them. You've really given me a different perspective. Thanks Robyn. I look forward to hearing how well your son is doing. :)
